1. Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for tournament entry fees, subscription fees, and other payments made on the Tournify platform. By using our services and making payments, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Tournament Entry Fees

2.1 Cancellation by User

If you cancel your participation in a tournament, the following refund policy applies:

  • More than 48 hours before tournament start: Full refund of entry fee
  • 24-48 hours before tournament start: 50% refund of entry fee
  • Less than 24 hours before tournament start: No refund

2.2 Tournament Cancellation

If a tournament is canceled by the organizer or by Tournify:

  • All participants will receive a full refund of their entry fees
  • Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • You will be notified via email when the refund is processed

2.3 Tournament Rescheduling

If a tournament is rescheduled:

  • Your entry will automatically be transferred to the new date
  • If you cannot participate on the new date, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the rescheduling announcement
  • After 48 hours, the standard cancellation policy (section 2.1) applies

3. Subscription Fees

3.1 Cancellation of Subscription

If you cancel your subscription to Tournify Premium:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods

3.2 Refund Requests for Subscriptions

Refund requests for subscription fees may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Technical issues that significantly impair the functionality of premium features
  • Accidental subscription purchase (must be reported within 48 hours of purchase)
  • Unauthorized transactions (must be reported immediately)

4. In-App Purchases

For in-app purchases such as tournament credits, cosmetic items, or other virtual goods:

  • All in-app purchases are final and non-refundable
  • Exceptions may be made for purchases that were not delivered due to technical errors
  • Refund requests for in-app purchases must be submitted within 48 hours of the transaction

5. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Log in to your Tournify account
  2. Navigate to the "Billing History" section in your profile
  3. Select the transaction for which you want a refund
  4. Click on "Request Refund" and provide the reason for your request
  5. Our support team will review your request within 2-3 business days

6. Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Tournify Credits: Immediate refund to your account balance
  • Other payment methods: Processing times may vary

7. Exceptions

Tournify reserves the right to:

  • Deny refund requests that do not comply with this policy
  • Make exceptions to this policy at our discretion
  • Request additional information to verify the legitimacy of refund requests
  • Ban accounts that abuse the refund system
